EARLY REHABILITATION OF INTENSIVE CARE UNIT PATIENTS — A MULTINATIONAL PROSPECTIVE OBSERVATIONAL STUDY ON DOSAGE & OUTCOME
ENDORSED BY
The ERUPT Study is a first of its kind multinational, prospective observational study, initiated by an international and interprofessional team of intensive care experts (Steering Committee), aiming to enhance the understanding of early mobilisation and its impact on recovery. The ERUPT Study will examine mobilisation practices and their dosage by collecting data from over 6,000 patients across 200+ ICUs globally.
The total duration of the ERUPT Study is 21 months, with patient recruitment starting in October 2025. Until then, the specifics of the study (e.g. ethics submissions, contracts) will be prepared. Study centres interested in participation can also join at a later date. Have a closer look at the study details.
We are pleased to announce that after having obtained a positive ethics vote we will soon start recruiting study centres. Please fill out our survey if you are interested and want to receive further information.
